With stories about racism, sexism, and bullying, hockey was having a tough time. Scotiabank wanted to help Canadians remember what makes hockey great.
Our solution? To get help. We invited Canadians to join award-winning documentary filmmakers in capturing a single day in the life of community hockey. And THOUSANDS did just that.
The end result? A feature-length documentary called “Hockey 24: A Film by Canada”. Seen by over half a million Canadian households the night of the broadcast premiere, the film went on to be honoured at advertising award shows and over a dozen film festivals.
